Linux Packages

Some of our products are distributed as packages to be used with the apt package manager under Debian or Ubuntu. This page provides the necessary resources and instructions to follow in order to use these on your own Linux system.

GPG Key

Importing GPG Key

You will first need to import our GPG key into your system, using the following commands:

sudo su -
wget -O - http://packages.coherent-logic.com/apt/cld.gpg.key | apt-key add -

Debian

We are currently supporting Debian Wheezy and Debian Jessie.

You will need to place the appropriate configuration from below into a new file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d.

Debian Wheezy

deb http://packages.coherent-logic.com/apt/debian wheezy main

Debian Jessie

deb http://packages.coherent-logic.com/apt/debian jessie main

Updating apt

After writing the appropriate configuration in /etc/apt/sources.list.d, run the following commands:

sudo apt-get update

Once the update process is complete, you will be able to install any Coherent Logic package using the following syntax:

sudo apt-get install <package-name>

Ubuntu

We are currently supporting Ubuntu Precise, Trusty, Vivid, and Wily.

You will need to place the appropriate configuration from below into a new file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d.

Ubuntu Precise

deb http://packages.coherent-logic.com/apt/ubuntu precise main

Ubuntu Trusty

deb http://packages.coherent-logic.com/apt/ubuntu trusty main

Ubuntu Vivid

deb http://packages.coherent-logic.com/apt/ubuntu vivid main

Ubuntu Wily

deb http://packages.coherent-logic.com/apt/ubuntu wily main

Updating apt

After writing the appropriate configuration in /etc/apt/sources.list.d, run the following commands:

sudo apt-get update

Once the update process is complete, you will be able to install any Coherent Logic package using the following syntax:

sudo apt-get install <package-name>
